The program follows a dual study system, meaning you will alternate between theoretical phases at DHBW Mannheim and practical phases at the main location in Tauberbischofsheim.

What to expect during your studies:

  • During the theory phases at the university, you will acquire extensive IT knowledge and business administration, including subjects like software development, programming, modern IT concepts, mathematics, and accounting.

  • In the practical phases, you will learn about communication, information, and application systems in connection with hardware technology. You will work on tasks mainly related to the organization, design, adaptation, and assurance of many company processes.

What you bring:

  • By the start of your studies, you have successfully completed your technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or high school diploma (Abitur).

  • You have a strong interest in IT and business administration and are capable of solving mathematical problems.

  • Ideally, you already have some knowledge of programming.

The dual study program in "Freight Forwarding, Transport, and Logistics" introduces you to all relevant logistics business areas, including land, sea, and air transport, as well as warehousing. In addition, the curriculum covers business administration, IT, foreign languages, and sales training. Upon graduation, you will be perfectly prepared for challenging roles in forwarding, transport, and logistics departments or companies.
