For the Venice Architecture Biennale (10 May–14 September 2025), design concepts by French architect and designer Jean Nouvel for the Fondation Cartier will be shown in an accompanying event. To ensure that visitors can sit comfortably while viewing the exhibition The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain by Jean Nouvel, VS Vereinigte Spezialmöbelfabriken has provided 100 JUMPER Ply chairs. The model is part of the JUMPER chair family, which Nouvel developed for the school and office furniture manufacturer.

Since its foundation in 1984, the Fondation Cartier has placed architecture at the heart of its programme. Designed by Jean Nouvel in 1994, the building in Paris, with its striking glass and steel construction, has defined a new type of exhibition design. Thirty years later, the Fondation has once again commissioned Jean Nouvel, this time to redesign a Haussmann-style building on the Place du Palais-Royal in Paris, which will open at the end of 2025.

The exhibition is on display at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice. The Fondation Cartier is planning a book on Jean Nouvel's architectural project for autumn 2025.
