Cleaning and maintaining

Note on COVID-19: Despite the COVID pandemic, the Robert-Koch Institute (RKI) does not recommend the routine disinfection of surfaces in domestic and public areas, including that of frequent contact surfaces. Appropriate cleaning is the preferred approach.

General information: Surfaces coated with powder paint are particularly easy to care for. Minor soiling can be removed with a soft, moderately damp cloth or sponge. In the case of more serious dirty areas, use a neutral cleaner and then wash off with clean water.

Do not use any aggressive and/or abrasive cleaning materials since these can damage the powder-coated surface. These also include all liquid cleaners which contain abrasive additives such as whiting or similar. Do not use any acidic or alkaline cleaning agents or organic solvents.

Only use cleaning cloths or rags or natural or synthetic sponges for cleaning . Do not use any synthetic cleaning pads or steel wool. These can permanently damage the surface structure. Do not use any steam-jet cleaners.

In the case of serious contamination or if the powder paint film is damaged , you are advised to contact the VS Service department directly.
