Learning from learning

Our long-standing experience in the education sector greatly benefited us during the development of the TriUnion. It has shown that when the furniture options are diverse, the transition between different work modes automatically increases. Teamwork grows, and communication is enhanced.

Whether it's an informal meeting or focused exchange between two people, intensive project work by creative workers, or brief meetings in small to medium-sized teams – the TriUnion fosters all creative and productive processes of knowledge workers. Standing makes these processes more spontaneous than sitting.

Ergonomically recommended

We developed the TriUnion together with movement scientist Dr. Dieter Breithecker and learning space expert Karin Doberer. The surrounding footrest encourages users to naturally shift between standing on one leg and resting on the other. This keeps the body in motion and relieves pressure on the back. And because standing at the TriUnion is so comfortable, it frequently invites users to engage in standing work sessions.

One of the most distinctive features of the TriUnion is its base. Horizontal and vertical steel tube loops form an intricately designed tripod. This creates two different heights for the surrounding footrest, making it suitable for people of varying heights.

Mobile and versatile

Its triangular shape makes the TriUnion ideal for various communication situations and incredibly versatile. A second, third, or fourth TriUnion can be quickly brought in and just as easily rolled aside. Thanks to its wheels, it is easy to move and fits comfortably through any door with a 90-centimeter clearance. This makes it usable across different rooms.

Linking

With an easy-to-use mechanism, the tables can be linked together. This allows the standing desk setup to be flexibly expanded for meetings with small to medium-sized teams.

Entscheidende Details

An ihrem Kreuzungspunkt verbinden sich Gestellteile zu einem Knoten, der den Tischfuß oder eine Rolle aufnimmt. Für den mittleren und den hohen TriUnion haben sie einen Durchmesser von 125 Millimetern und sind auch mit Chromblende erhältlich; der kleine TriUnion hat Rollen mit 65 Millimetern Durchmesser.

Metal parts. Steel and aluminium are mainly used in the manufacture of chairs and tables but also for racks. At VS, tubes as well as metal sheets for fronts are generally epoxy-resin powder-coated. In addition to various metal colours , selected products can also be chrome-plated.

Important note. Material and colour charts produced by printing can deviate slightly from the original and the colours are not necessarily exactly true. The same applies to ink-jet or laser prints from PDF files. Information on colour systems (e.g. NCS, RAL, Pantone) are always approximate values.
