Versatile furniture makes a whole range of new possibilities available in the classroom. For phases involving project work, for example, central, forward-facing furniture arrangements can be reorganized into a number of different arrangements where various separated areas are juxtaposed – with circular forms, snake-like lines, configurations for teams or groups, etc.

This versatility provides space for many different activities. For researching and discovering, inventing and imagining, constructing and designing, searching and documenting, organizing and conceptualizing. The classroom becomes a workshop.
